Dues & Costs

New Scouts registering in after August 1, 2023 will pay a one-time registration fee of $25, then 12-month dues of $80. Afterward, dues of $80 are collected annually, in the anniversary month of joining.

You can see that Cub Scouts is just about the best value for youth activities around. At a monthly cost of $6.67, plus one-time expenses related to uniforms, you still get an amazing program, trained leadership, and TONS of fun for your child for a whole year for less than the average cost of one 3-month sports season.

Our annual Fall Popcorn Sale typically covers the costs for Pack Outings, supplies, and activities, including a basic car kit for our Annual Pinewood Derby. We want our Cub Scouts to learn to “earn their way” in the world, so we don’t expect or want parents to dish out check after check over the course of each year.

There are sometimes District or Council events that have associated costs, but you’ll find that even these events (Halloween Spook-O-Ree Campout, Biscuits Baseball Camp-O-Ree, etc.) is a great value (usually around $25/person for all food and activities at the overnight, with discounted rates for non-Scout siblings and parents).
